How StirLight handles technical claims
- Process physics and published literature are cited to their sources.
- Figures measured on customer parts are only published as ranges, and only with that customer’s agreement. Client names, volumes and commercial terms are not published.
- Comparison pages state where the incumbent process remains the better engineering choice. That is usually true for part of the design space, and saying so is cheaper than a failed trial.
- Weld procedure work references ISO 25239, the standard for friction stir welding of aluminium.
